Below are some of the common questions we get asked about Solar
Yes, although your bill will be proportionately lower than before. We still keep you connected to the grid as a fail-safe in case there are any issues with your power generation. It is also dependent on your Solar System installed in your home (Size, power generation, etc).
Simply put, the energy is converted from a direct current electric charge (Sun energy to Solar panels) to a alternating current charge (Converted to AC by the inverter), allowing you to do the things you enjoy with the energy generated by the sun!
This is all up to you, as the system can provide additional value to your residential property. If required, you may call us to assist you in migrating the system to your new home at a cost.
As we said, we are with you all the way. This will be completed in-house and our team of experts will assist you throughout the process by keeping you in the loop with updates until finally delivering your approval.
If you have chosen to maintain the system yourself, this will fully be your own responsibility and the contact will explain the requirements in order for you to keep your warranty valid for the period. If you’ll be keeping maintenance through Solargrid Africa, we will take care of everything and let you enjoy your sun powered energy. It should be noted that each product has varying warranties and that you should inquire with your sales rep or technician.
